Enrolment for year 2012 will be on Tuesday 24 January 2012 at Henley High School Hall from 17:00 until 18:30.
Ballet classes start from 30 January 2012.
The Pavlova School of Classical Ballet invites girls and boys aged 5-18 years
to learn classical ballet and contemporary dance.
The School offers junior beginner classes for girls and boys up to 12 years of
age. There are further beginners, intermediate and advanced classes for girls and boys
aged 12 and over. Private lessons are also available.
Intermediate and advanced students practice pointe work.
The Vaganova Method
The School uses the Vaganova Method of classical ballet in its pedagogy. This
method is the basis of the renowned Russian School of Ballet style.
The method was developed by the famous Russian ballerina Madame Agrippina
Vaganova (1879-1951), and is widely used in Russia, Europe, North America and
other parts of the world.
A highly professional approach based on years of experience in the field of
teaching this method is used.
Classes are imparted by the Bolshoi trained, Moscow Festival Theatre and State
Kremlin Ballet acclaimed soloist and principal dancer, Valentina Pavlova.

Students will have the opportunity to demonstrate their acquired skills through
participation in the professionally staged, artistically directed performance
at the end of 2009 in an established theatre venue.
Facilities
Classes are held in a new Henley High School Dance Studio. Dance studio was built in December 2008. The studio is fully equipped with barres, mirrors and tarkett dance floor. Dance Studio is air-conditioned. Change rooms are also available.
